Student Council

The school is keen to hear the views of its students, and listens to what they have to say in a number of ways, including through focus groups and questionnaires. One of the most important means is through the student council. Each form group elects two form representatives who sit on their year council. Each year council elects representatives to sit on the school council.

The year councils and school council debate and share their views on a range of student issues, including rules, uniform, their learning and teaching. It develops in students the ability to express themselves, formulate arguments, represent the views of others and the ability to feedback to their peers.
